All of our lumber is purchased in rough form where it is then planed, cut and moulded into doors, rails, center panels and other types of profiles. We buy only FAS or Select material in Maple, Oak, Cherry & Alder. All door rails and center panels are assembled using either mitered or mortise and tenon type construction. The completed doors and fronts are then machine sanded using a Denibber & industrial sanding machine followed by detailed prep sanding by a qualified employee using orbital sanders. The door, drawer or other wood components are then stained and sealed in an automated finishing line. It is then scuff sanded by a trained employee before being top coated in another finishing line. Face Frame style. It has a hidden soft close hinge which is mounted on the face frame with a ½ inch tolerance between doors and drawers. This type of construction represents 95% of all cabinets sold in the United States. It was developed to be a competitive all ply-wood box verse the more expensive ply-wood cabinet offered in our industry. The interior is a beautiful clear finish on white birch.
